SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


New York egg prices are steady.  Regional and California egg prices are 
steady.  The undertone is about steady to steady.  Supplies are light to 
usually moderate.  The national shell egg inventory is down 1.9 percent
compared to the week before.  Offerings are moderate to at times light.  
Retail demand is mixed, mostly light to moderate.  Food service remains 
light to moderate.  Market activity is slow to moderate.  Breaking stock 
supplies are moderate to heavy for full-time to extended breaking schedules.
The national breaking stock inventory is 3.7 percent lower than the previous
week.  Light hen offerings are moderate for a light demand.
